Jeannie Boniface

Jeannie Boniface will be presenting a workshop on infection control in the spa. Jeannie has worked in the dental pharmaceutical and infection control industry since 1991. Jeannie is a dynamic professional speaker, consultant and entertainer who throughout the past 20 years has spoken across Canada, the US and internationally. Jeannie has built a reputation for being passionate, informative and inspiring, with interests lying in the use of greener infection control disinfectants. Utilizing her extensive knowledge, she wrote the infection control protocols for Virox Technologies. She has trained dental, medical, spa and medi-spa personnel in Canada, the US, Mexico and Europe on protocols for proper cleaning, disinfecting and sterilization following government guidelines and recommendations. Jeannie is an independent consultant for many companies, including the North American School of Podology. She is also a member of The National Speakers Association, Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, Toastmasters International, OSAP, and is a registered teacher with the Canadian Reiki Association.

Jonathan Gilbank

Jonathan will be co-presenting a portion of the Financial module with Leslie. Jonathan Gilbank is a graduate from the Wilfrid Laurier University School of Business & Economics. While receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in accounting, he worked as a freelance consultant in the Accounting Information Systems field. Grasping the opportunity, Jonathan and a business partner co-founded JR Consulting, a professional Accounting Information System Consulting Firm. Positions and experiences include Financial Analyst; Material Specialist and President and Lead Instructor for the Wilfred Laurier University School of Business & Economics IT department.

Marla Gold B.A. Psych, Certified Nia Blue Belt Instructor

Marla.s passion for dance and movement are a natural fit with Nia. She brings to her classes knowledge from diverse trainings in Dance, Fitness, Energy Medicine, Energy Psychology and Bodywork. Her goal is to encourage people to enjoy a lifestyle of health and well-being. Marla is a Holistic Practitioner and Blue Belt Nia Instructor who teaches regular Nia classes and workshops in Toronto.

Frank Pitsikalis

Frank Pitsikalis will share his knowledge on Software Solutions for Day Spas and Stay Spas. Frank has advised Fortune 1000 companies who utilize technology at a strategic level and has worked at top international management consulting firms including, Ernst & Young, USoft (Unisys), and MERANT. Combining his knowledge of the hospitality field with his background in enterprise level technology, Frank founded Enablez and developed the ResortSuite software solution, establishing a position as the leading provider of true integrated, guest-centric, hospitality and leisure management technology.

Frank devotedly volunteers his time to various industry associations including, The Leading Spas of Canada and ISPA. He is a member of the affluent ISPA Implementation committee and sits on the Leading Spas of Canada Board of Directors. e was a contributing author for ISPA's Retail Management for Spas, The Art & Science of Retail, writing two chapters in the textbook. Frank is an enthusiastic speaker and presents regularly at prominent industry events and forums.
