Testing and Certification

There are two stages to the testing and certification.

Self-Monitor your Progress throughout your Learning Experience

To aid you in your efforts and encourage a fruitful outcome for you, we have developed a light, self-paced Testing and Certification Program in tandem with your Learning Package. Within your package you will find Self-Assessment Questionnaires, which are reviews of the information contained in each module. These Self-Assessments are not marked. They are simply made available for you to measure your understanding of the material that was just covered. We have used a combination of techniques to allow you to score yourself, which include:

1. Placing answers in order of importance;
2. Multiple choice;
3. True or false.

Take the Final Assessment Online

Upon completion of the program, you will take an online Final Assessment. This Assessment is a combination of questions, drawn randomly from the previous Self-Assessments from each module. You may take this Final Assessment as many times as you wish.

To take the final assessment, login to your account here, and click "Take Final Assessment". You will be provided with a login and password when you purchase your distance learning package.

Obtaining the Certificate of Achievement

Once you have passed in your online Final Assessment, you will be awarded the Spas2b Spa Management & Operations Certificate of Achievement. You will receive your certificate through the mail.

Tools and Technical Requirements

In order for you to enjoy this Learning Package to the fullest, you will require:

1. A full understanding of the English language, both written and verbal;
2. A Microsoft Windows computer with Microsoft Excel 2000 or greater and Microsoft Word 2000 or greater OR an Apple computer with Microsoft Office 2004 or greater;
3. A DVD player;
