It has now become of critical importance that the Spa Management Team all under-go spa management education. Not only are spa owners demanding that their Managers and Directors be certified in Spa Management, but the whole team must be fine tuned and heading in the same direction in order to survive in today's business climate. Each must diligently contribute towards uncovering new, evolving opportunities for growth, and implement and execute aggressively. Developing in-place whole business strategies is the only way to succeed in today's market.
The "luxury of spa" has been forced to become the "business of spa"

Presentation Overview
Whether you are just starting up your Spa, or you are a seasoned veteran, you need to have a Business Plan. At some time or another, you will require either outside financing; a lease agreement; be considering a partnership; or even looking for investors. To achieve any of these, a formal presentation outlining your business objectives and strategies must be in place. But the value and benefits that come to you as the owner from doing the research and constructing a viable Business Plan, is often the most important. Today you will be provided with the "Super-Customized - Industry Specific Spas2b Business Plan Outline" that will focus on potential and opportunity and generate interest and excitement in those you are targeting!
Leslie will be presenting 'Staff Contracts, Agreements & Promises" at the upcoming Day Spa Association Expo and Business Forum in Las Vegas this February 5-7, 2008 at the Sands Expo Centre.
Presentation Overview
If it's time for you to reinforce or solidify the verbal agreements you've made with your staff, independent contractors, or potential candidates, this is the session for you. When everyone knows what's expected of them, a business runs more productively; staff and clients feel the fit; and it eventually equates to better financial outcomes. From Compensation Contracts to Non-Compete Agreements, we'll cover them all.
Read Leslie's 3-part series in DAYSPA Magazine's "Money Matters" this October, November and December 2007, on Spa Finances.
Spas2b is proud to announce their donation of the 4-day Spa Management & Operations Course of Study to this event. To meet with Leslie at the upcoming ISPA Conference November 11-15, 2008 in Kissimmee, Florida, contact her at llyon@spas2b.com.
With participants ranging from Resort Spa Directors; to Amusement Park developers; a Troops Commander in Iraq; to Owners of a Scuba Diving company, the attending student body came from around the world, and were as passionate about their spa careers, as they were diverse.
As always, there are two distinct sides to the Spas2b Management training courses: higher level leadership; and business development. One is nothing without the other and we spent the week uncovering the endless opportunities that are available, when those two skill sets are in balance. The laughter throughout the week told me they were building relationships; and the furrows on their brows told me they were building knowledge.
