Customer Complaints

A question submitted to Spas2b:

A customer complained about my service, but I don’t think the complaint was fair. I’m fairly new here and was never trained on the treatment and had to check my notes in the service. She felt that was unprofessional and wanted a discount beause she said I was a junior esthetician.

What can I do to help myself when there is no time to practice and no one is available to train me on these services?


Our Response:

You’ll need to discuss this with management and you will find one of two things will happen: nothing; or immediate action.

If nothing happens, you need to decide if this spa is the one that is right for you. If immediate action is taken, you will be on your way to a higher level of proficiency and confidence.

I understand that it’s that kind of security and self-assuredness inside the treatment room you are looking for. I too am an Esthetician, and was taught and nurtured by one of the best in the business. It literally shaped my career. Insist on this and you will succeed.
